I am the principal of Ford Berry Associates, LLC. I am a Connecticut attorney in private practice and an Investment Advisor Representative with Cetera Advisor Networks LLC.
After receiving my B.A. as a senior scholar at Barnard College, I obtained a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1979. I began my legal practice in Hartford, CT with Hebb & Gitlin and thereafter with Shipman & Goodwin. In 1984, I started my own law practice concentrating in the areas of estate planning, estate administration and real estate law. Shortly thereafter, I established a practice in financial services.
I began my association with Rob Tarlov over 15 years ago and in 2020 we formed Tarlov Ford Berry Financial Group.
I am formerly a member of the Greater Hartford community and I have served numerous organizations which include the Professional Advisory Committee of the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, a Fellow of the Connecticut Bar Foundation, formerly a Trustee of Westfield State University and Trustee of The Fund for Greater Hartford. Previous board member of the Hartford Seminary and the Friends of Elizabeth Park.
I presently resides in Hartford with my husband, Thomas.
